A private equity backed tech company in Cambridge is seeking a Management Accountant to join their team.
This full-time position offers a flexible work arrangement with one day in the office and four days working from home.
Candidates should have strong SAP experience, be able to handle month-end close independently, and possess strong Excel skills.
The role requires ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualification or finalist status, along with experience in an SME business with a small finance team.
The salary for this position is competitive, and candidates should ideally have experience in a PE/VC backed tech company.

We are working with a private equity backed tech company in Cambridge who are looking for a Management Accountant to join their team. This is a full time role with 1 day a week in the office, 4 days at home.

They are seeking someone with strong SAP experience and experience handling month-end close on their own.

Responsibilities

Month-end close
Prepare budgets, forecasts, and monthly management accounts.
Analyze financial performance and identify areas for improvement.
Conduct cost analysis and implement cost-saving initiatives.
Collaborate with department heads to support decision-making and strategic planning.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
Provide financial modeling and risk assessments for business projects

Requirements

Strong SAP experience
Ability to close month-end on your own
Strong Excel skills
ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified, or finalist
Experience working in an SME business with a small finance team (3-7 finance staff)
Ideally experience working in a PE/VC backed tech company
