This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Management Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) to join a growing, forward-thinking business in Cambridge.
You'll be part of a collaborative finance team, working closely with senior stakeholders to provide key financial insights and support strategic decision-making. The role is broad, offering plenty of variety and the chance to develop your skills in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
What You'll Be Doing:
* Balance Sheet Reconciliation & Analysis - Ensure accuracy, identify risks, and provide insight
* Management Accounts & Reporting - Produce monthly accounts, variance analysis, and commercial metric
* Project & Grant Reporting - Support internal and external reporting requirements
* Cash Flow & Forecasting - Help drive financial planning and stability
* Process Improvement & Systems Development - Identify efficiencies and support system enhancements
* Year-End & Compliance - Assist with audits, tax reporting, payroll review, and VAT returns
* Business Partnering - Work with department heads to provide financial clarity and support decision-making
What We're Looking For:
* Fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with at least 2 years of post-qualification experience
* Strong technical accounting knowledge, ideally including group consolidations
* Experience in management accounting & reporting, working to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent communication & problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach
* ERP system experience is a plus, but not essential
This role also offers the chance for occasional travel (once a year) to the US, where the wider finance team is based.
