Role Responsibilities- Preparing statutory accounts and tax computations for a range of healthcare clients
- Completing VAT returns and monthly management accounts
- Reviewing work prepared by junior team members and offering constructive feedback
- Directly resolving more complex queries with clients and providing practical solutions
- Coaching and mentoring junior staff and supporting their development
- Managing deadlines and delivering assignments within budgeted timeframes
You’ll be part of a well-established and growing accountancy and advisory firm known for its entrepreneurial mindset, strong client relationships, and culture of collaboration. The firm offers a wide range of services across the UK and internationally, with a special focus on helping owner-managed businesses thrive.
Candidate Requirements- ACA or ACCA qualification (essential)
- Experience working in practice with a portfolio that includes healthcare clients (essential)
- Strong working knowledge of VAT and tax compliance
- Confidence in client-facing situations, with strong communication skills
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage, Xero and QuickBooks Online
- A proactive, organised and collaborative approach
- £38,000 - £48,000 per annum
- Permanent, full-time role
- 25 days annual leave (plus option to buy/sell up to 5 days)
