This role is for a Group Accountant who is well versed with the financial operations in the Life Science industry. The individual will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting while adhering to established accounting standards.

Description
- Preparation and consolidation of financial statements for the group.
- Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Coordination with external auditors for annual audits.
- Analysing and reporting on financial performance and trends
- Group year-end and month-end accounting and reporting
- Group statutory reporting
- IFRS accounting
- Driving annual budgeting and reforecasting processes
- Development and reporting of business KPI's
- Utilising reporting tools to provide business insight
- Take on any other responsibilities that reasonably fall within the job holders remit and capabilities
Profile
A successful Group Accountant should have:
- A degree in Accounting or Finance
- Professional accounting qualification part qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on accounting application
- Attention to details
- Must hold the right to work in the UK
