We are delighted to be partnering with a consultancy business based in the centre of Cambridge as they seek to recruit an Accounts Assistant to join their team. This role will be a part time position, working 22.5 hours per week and would be mostly office based. The role is replacing the current incumbent who is leaving the organisation and within this role, you will report into the Finance Director. As the incoming Accounts Assistant, you will be tasked with the following duties:- Maintaining the Sales and Purchase Ledger- Preparing supplier payment runs - Bank reconciliations - Processing credit card payments- Assisting with month end duties- Additional ad hoc duties as requiredAs the successful candidate, you will possess previous experience working in a similar level finance role and had good excel skills. Knowledge of Xero is considered a must have given the work you will be required to do. You will also have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise your workload efficiently and effectively. This role is a great part time role for someone looking to work for a exciting business.
