This specialist life science marketing agency has grown from strength to strength, and they’re looking for a Paid Media Campaign Manager. This leading life sciences marketing agency are passionate about how sciences can improve the world around us. Their work helps to ensure that companies, scientists and healthcare experts find and understand the technologies they need to drive discovery, cure disease, improve crop yields and make the world a better place.

This Paid Media Campaign Manager will work across a portfolio of life science trade press paid media clients to deliver campaigns on time and on budget. You will collaborate with the paid media manager, agency strategists, content team, designers, clients and publishers to execute paid media campaigns including media buying, campaign scheduling and setup, asset creation and submission, ongoing campaign management, reporting and optimisation.Responsibilities of this Paid Media Campaign Manager:

  • Review campaign assets produced by the team (e.g. banner ads, print ads, e-mailers, content, landing pages etc) to ensure they fulfil the needs of the campaign objectives and plan.
  • Support the maintenance of the agency media database to ensure the information is up to date and accurate, including requesting media packs from publishers.
  • Build strong working relationships with publishers and advertising managers from the various media titles to ensure clients have access to the best opportunities at the best possible rates.
  • Build strong and collaborative relationships with client contacts and effectivel communicate client expectations, plans, budgets and performance metrics across the combined agency-client team.
  • Carry out specific media research for the team as required i.e. new client or new specialist industry vertical / specialist focus.
  • Ensure client and publishers contracts are in place and kept up to date including data processing agreements to ensure GDPR compliance.
  • Liaise with client PR specialists to ensure paid and earned media activity is properly coordinated.

Requirements of this Paid Media Campaign Manager:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience working in a B2B media or advertising agency in an account management, project management or campaign management role.
  • Good understanding of B2B trade press paid media channels and tactics, along with typical paid media campaign performance metrics.
  • Comfortable gathering, manipulating and inputting campaign reporting data and presenting campaign results and optimisation insights to clients.
  • Strong communication and project management skills, and ability to coordinate internal resources and SME’s to ensure the delivery of excellent, high-quality work.
  • Previous experience of working in the life science, healthcare or medcomms sectors would be beneficial but not essential
