SUMMARY:

This fast growing start-up in the Agri/Food Sciences domain is committed to harnessing the power of plants to develop new proteins and ingredients - ultimately with the aim of contributing to a more sustainable, accessible and nutritional food system.

Through a variety of bio engineering and molecular biology related methods they are looking to break new ground and discover traits and innovations across a range of crop types which, in many cases, have never been explored in this way before.

As they grow, a Researcher is required with practical experience handling Tissue Culture samples in a wet lab based environment. We are open to varying experience levels - whether you are at the more junior end and operating in a lab technician type of role, through to more experienced individuals who may be more interested in roles at a Scientist / Researcher level.

Candidates will ideally have Plants based exposure, that being said we would be interested in speaking to those with Tissue Culture experience gained in other domains with transferrable skills.

On offer will be an opportunity with career growth prospects in a fast growing business, and the chance to contribute in an impactful, sustainability related area.
