We are thrilled to present an exciting opportunity for a Lead Project Engineer who will be responsible for leading product development during the lifecycle of crucial projects in space science and earth observation. You will need to come from a multidisciplinary engineering background to be able to oversee a variety of engineering inputs to the projects. This could be suitable for someone who is an established Project Engineer looking to take the next step, or someone who has a varied engineering background such as a Systems Engineer.
Role / Responsibilities:
- Deliver technical leadership and direction to the project team
- Gather requirements and build detailed plans
- Support throughout the project lifecycle with engineering governance and Engineering Management Plans
- Identify risks and opportunities and manage them accordingly
- Contribute to bidding activity
- Configuration control product and project
Skills / Experience:
- Wide-ranging knowledge across multiple engineering disciplines
- Strong stakeholder management
- Technical documentation experience
