About the role:
Astute's Renewables team is partnering with a green energy engineering company, that offer services ranging from design, project management, installation and maintenance, with a focus on renewable energy assets, including solar power, EV infrastructure and energy efficiency solutions. we we are recruiting for a Quality Engineer for a 12-month contract to support the delivery of solar PV and battery energy storage system (BESS) projects in the UK. The role will be based onsite in Cambridge,.

The Quality Assistant role comes with a day rate of up to 350 per day.




Key skills:

  • Inspecting completed works and works in progress to determine whether they meet the project specifications and requirements.
  • Monitoring overall construction performance with regard to technical quality and compliance with design and specification requirements.
  • Reporting without delay on work that does not meet the design and specification requirements.
  • Working with stakeholders to identify approaches and methods to improve overall quality.
  • Ensuring that all colleagues and collaborators that are involved in the project are aware and educated on the required standards.
  • Liaising with clients and reporting on progress to key stakeholders and colleagues involved in the project.
  • Experience in quality within construction is a minimum



Location, remuneration and timeframe of the Quality Assistant role:

  • Cambridgeshire
  • 12 Month contract with potential to extend
