Are you a Chartered Structural Engineer with a passion for innovative solutions and a strong background in timber frame structures?

We're looking for an experienced professional to join an exciting team as a Structural Engineer, where you'll take the lead in driving efficiency, challenging conventions, and delivering exceptional design solutions.

As a Structural Engineer you will:

  • Validate structural designs, including wind and line loading, ensuring best practices and efficiency in timber frame solutions.
  • Collaborate with the in-house timber frame design team, providing expert guidance on engineering matters and alternative solutions.
  • Maintain and manage standard and factory details, ensure compliance with NHBC certifications.
  • Own and oversee engineering designs, including roofs, joists, stairs, and temporary works, while resolving technical and design queries for production and site teams.

What we are looking for:

  • Minimum 3 years experince.
  • Strong background in timber frame engineering.
  • In-depth knowledge of British and European standards (e.g., BS6399, BS5268) and building regulations.
  • Collaborative team player who thrives in cross-disciplinary environments.
