We are delighted to be supporting a growing business based just south of Cambridge as they seek to recruit an Accounts Payable Assistant to join their team. This role is a newly created position and within this role you will report into the Accountant. This role is a part time role, for 3 days per week, and will offer some flexibility to work from home.

As the incoming Accounts Payable Assistant, you will be tasked with the following responsibilities, including:
- Processing and managing vendor invoices
- Processing customer payments
- Assisting with Credit control
- Preparing payment runs
- Liaising with external stakeholders on any accounts queries
- Assist with month end close
- Additional ad hoc duties as required

As the successful candidate for this position, you will have previous experience working within a similar level accountancy role, with good knowledge of accounting principles and procedures. You will also be an effective communicator both on a written and verbal level, and be organised in your approach to work. Other attributes you will display include:

- Ability to work to deadlines
