We are delighted to be supporting a growing business based just south of Cambridge as they seek to recruit an Accounts Payable Assistant to join their team. This role is a newly created position and within this role you will report into the Accountant. This role is a part time role, for 3 days per week, and will offer some flexibility to work from home.As the incoming Accounts Payable Assistant, you will be tasked with the following responsibilities, including:- Processing and managing vendor invoices- Processing customer payments- Assisting with Credit control- Preparing payment runs- Liaising with external stakeholders on any accounts queries- Assist with month end close- Additional ad hoc duties as requiredAs the successful candidate for this position, you will have previous experience working within a similar level accountancy role, with good knowledge of accounting principles and procedures. You will also be an effective communicator both on a written and verbal level, and be organised in your approach to work.
