Sonic Summary

A practice based just outside Cambridge is seeking a candidate with strong debit and credit skills to prepare accounts from incomplete records or Excel TB's.
The role involves interrogating Xero TB's for necessary journal adjustments and working with clients up to £4 million in turnover, including charities and biotech firms.
Candidates should ideally have experience in a practice environment, but skilled bookkeepers and QBE's with strong bookkeeping evidence will also be considered.
Knowledge of Excel, Xero, Sage, or Quickbooks is preferred, and the role offers a salary of £30,000 to £40,000 depending on experience.

Do you enjoy using your strong debit and credit skills and are unhappy in your current role? If so, read on.My client, a practice based just outside Cambridge, is looking for someone to do the following:

Prepare accounts from incomplete records or Excel TB's
Interrogate Xero TB's to find any journal adjustments, which are required
Working on clients up to £4million turnover including charities, start up biotech firms and consultancies

In addition, the following experience would be useful but is not essential as training could be given in these areas:

Knowledge of preparing personal tax returns
Preparing VAT Returns
Payroll

Ideally you will have experience of being in a practice environment but my client would look at skilled bookkeepers and QBE's, with proof of strong bookkeeping on their CV. The client uses Excel, Xero, Sage and Quickbooks and knowledge of any of these would be preferred.In return, my client offers good benefits including:
