Your responsibilities will include having oversight for the management of the entire scheme to drive its commercial, social and environmental performance, together with creating an exceptional customer focussed experience that meets customer and visitor need. You will be responsible for managing a team and broader supply chains to deliver best in class management, ensuring Cambridge Business Park operates to the highest safety, security and hygiene standards. There will be a requirement to lead and drive The Crown Estate’s ambitions to become Net Zero by 2030, together with ensuring a continual focus on driving social value across the park and its broader community. Purpose of the Role
As Park Manager you will work closely with The Crown Estate and Savills teams to lead the successful operation to achieve ongoing growth and enhancement of this high quality aspirational destination. Through strategic direction, management leadership, stakeholder influence and engagement, innovation and accountability.
As an influencer you will give strategic direction and clearly communicate the vision for Cambridge Business Park, including the values, culture and behaviours. You will be a strong and motivational leader who has a proven track record in effectively developing and nurturing teams.
As part of the asset team you will drive performance and growth to strengthen the asset and ensure its long term success.
The Park Manager will represent Cambridge Business Park as the public face of the development maintaining relationships with all key internal and external stakeholders. Experience in dealing with multiple stakeholders is required.
You will deliver the vision and key objectives in the business plan, having strategic focus and motivating the team to achieve operational excellence.

Main Duties
Management and Leadership
- Create and drive a strong multi-functional leadership team providing depth and resilience to the operation of the development.
- In conjunction with the asset team drive performance and growth to strengthen the asset and ensure its long term sustainability and success.
- Have a full understanding and appreciation of the business strategy and take responsibility for its implementation in the context of the site team.
- Contribute to the business plan and take responsibility for implementation of the relevant areas of business plan at site level.
- Direct and support the Senior Management Team
- Monitor metrics providing an objective view of performance, identify shortcomings and address forthwith.
People Management
- Ensure all team members receive exemplary levels of support, development and performance feedback. Including training and development tailored to individual needs.
- Provide effective leadership to ensure the management, development and encouragement of the wider team to meet both business and personal objectives.
- Maintain a consistently high level of dialogue with the full team.
- Ensure everyone understands the business objectives, values and aspirations of the client. and the part they play by championing any necessary change and acting as a role model at all times.
- Work in conjunction with Savills to recruit quality employees from a wide and diverse background.
- Undertake pay reviews and bonus awards of onsite team in conjunction with Savills.
- Conduct staff appraisals in accordance with the Savills staff appraisal policy.
- In conjunction with Savills HR team ensure disciplinary and grievance procedures are actioned appropriately.
Financial Performance
- Work in conjunction with the asset team to maximise Net Operating Income in line with brand standards.
- Establish and nurture a culture which allows the team to take responsibility for preparing, managing and reconciling service charge and other property budgets. Retaining overall accountability for ensuring resources are managed within agreed financial parameters and value for money achieved.
- Ensure a void management strategy is implemented, as required, to minimise non-recoverable expenditure.
