Facilities Manager
- Provide effective leadership and management for the facilities organization at multi-site locations.
- Responsible for day-to-day implementation of policies, procedures, and programs, that provide a well-managed and well- maintained building.
- Provide positive response to the concerns and needs of the client, tenants, environmental health and safety, and quality programs, in coordination with the client's goals and objectives.
- Responsibility for coordinating the activities, financials, vendors, and resources required for current and future needs of the buildings and operations.
- Develop partnering relationships with key client employees& stakeholders in the locations under their control.
- Deliver full suite of services as defined in contract Scope of Work.
- Ensure Client satisfaction by being responsible for achieving client SLA and driving acceptable service delivery performance.
- Provide regular reporting/support to Regional Account Director as required.
- Ensure compliance with legislative, health, safety, and environmental requirements.
- Work with local/central/third party project manager(s) to ensure fully integrated FM/projects delivery
- Establish in depth knowledge of client culture with particular focus on Real Estate and site organization.
- Core Responsibilities for sites / personnel under their management:
- Financial Management
- Responsible for managing annual OPEX & CAPEX budgets for sites under their control.
- Conducting monthly and quarterly forecasting activities, monthly accruals, aligning with client deadlines, and adhering to (KPIs) and contract performance indicators (CPIs) as outlined in the (MSA).
- Overall responsibility for financial performance for sites under their control.
Operations
- Oversee day to day operations of all hard & soft services on client owned / leased facilities.
- Operational management of internal and external service delivery teams.
- Provide visible leadership to team members and peers by collaborating with others and articulating ideas.
- Provide Operational Support/Coverage to Regional/Senior FMs for other sites / locations in EMEA.
- Responsible for managing / operating: Finance System
- Effective management of clients Critical Business Infrastructure (CBI) with key goals on minimising client downtime / identifying & reducing operational risks.
- For Leased sites - Liaison with respective Landlord(s); demonstrate familiarity with lease to ensure landlord responsibilities are completed at no cost to client.
Procurement & Contracts
- Ensure value for money is achieved through robust management of suppliers and measurement of performance via contracted SLAs and KPIs.
- Re-procurement where effective, service and cost benefits, can be achieved utilising strategic use of the supply chain where appropriate.
- Have an understanding of the contractual obligations, terms, and conditions of the contract between the Client.
Risk & Compliance, Governance & H&S
- Follow established client policies and procedures.
- Take full responsibility for all quality, environmental and health& safety issues
