OverviewWe are recruiting for HGV Class 2 - Class 3 ADR driver for a well established client in the Cambridge area. We are looking for a candidate to work days and have occasional weekend availability and you will be transporting domestic cooking oil. You will be on Contract until the end of April 2025 and have career progression opportunities in operational functions. There is overtime available and will be payed at enhanced rates.

Responsibilities

  • Operate Class 2 vehicles for the safe transportation of goods, ensuring compliance with ADR regulations.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and reliability.
  • Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation as required.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.
  • Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns professionally.

Qualifications

  • Valid Class 2 driving licence with Class 3 ADR certification is essential.
  • Previous experience in commercial driving or as a delivery driver is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of road safety regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently.
  • Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
  • Valid CPC
