Job Title: Shuttering CarpenterLocation: Cambridge, UKJob Type: Full-TimeKey Responsibilities:
- Constructing formwork for concrete structures based on project specifications.
- Reading and interpreting blueprints and construction plans.
- Measuring, cutting, and assembling materials such as timber, plywood, and steel.
- Installing and securing formwork on construction sites.
- Inspecting formwork for stability and safety before concrete pouring.
- Assisting in the concrete pouring process when necessary.
- Dismantling formwork once concrete has set and cured.
- Collaborating with other construction professionals, including engineers and concrete workers.
- Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Shuttering Carpenter.
- Valid CSCS card.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and precision in work.
- Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labour.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to safety and quality
