If you have a passion for exceptional cooking and baking, you will support the Catering Manager and wider team in providing a positive, comfortable and welcoming environment for our colleagues for both breakfast and lunch services.
Please note that the hours for this role are Monday to Friday, 07:00-14:30. A wonderful work/life balance!
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Supporting the team with the day-to-day running of our in-house catering.
- Producing a wide variety of foods, from prep-work to serving and clearing, following both traditional and modern recipes, including breakfast, soups, desserts, and lunch.
- Adhering to all applicable health and safety regulations, HACCPs and our in-house Food Safety Management System.Â
- Supporting the catering team to achieve the highest possible standards. Â
- Ensuring the kitchen and serving area is maintained to the highest level of cleanliness.Â
- Supporting training and development of junior members of the team, e.g. Catering Assistants.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- Excellent working knowledge of cooking and baking techniques. Â
- Proven experience of working in a similar role within the hospitality industry, ideally within the catering sector.
- Understanding and experience of stock management and control.
- Excellent customer service with a passion for promoting a fun environment.
- Ability to work with fresh ingredients and cook-to-order when required.Â
- Compliant and up to date with Health & Safety rules and regulation.Â
- Great team player with a positive hands-on approach to all the catering tasks, ensuring an inspiring and efficient team environment.Â
- Ability to work under pressure, and comfortable in a very flexible, fast-paced working environment.
