We are seeking a qualified Commis Chef who has a Level 2 Food Safety Certificate to join our agency team. The position is based within our client's in house restaurant/cafe and employee dining room, our client being a high profile supermarket and retail brand, well established and respected for many years.

You will have a passion for food and delivering exceptional dining experiences to our client's workers and guests, just like our client is passionate about good, quality food.

Duties will include Veg prep, cooking and reheating meals, serving in the dining room, defrosting and labelling. You will also be expected to replenish vending machines when required, check date codes and rotate stock together with stage 2 cleaning.

You will cover all aspects of cooking, assisting in menu creation using our client's fresh, quality ingredients.

We are looking for someone who thrives working in a fast paced environment, excelling at customer service on a daily basis. Someone, who understands Food Safety policies and COSHH Chemical handling. On occasion, you may be also be required to oversee and mentor kitchen staff, providing guidance and support and we would therefore expect you to be a team player, and confident in your role.
