Job Title: Cook
Location: Based in Cottenham
Working Days: Monday to Friday
Shifts & Hours: 7am - 3pm (37.5 hours per week)
Working Weeks: 38 weeks per year (term time plus inset days)
Hourly Rate: £14 per hour

Our client, a college based in Cottenham is looking for a confident school cook to work in their kitchen. As the new school cook, you will be responsible for cooking meals for the busy lunch and for the smooth running of the lunch service. Working days for this role are Monday - Friday and hours will be 7am to 3pm
What will you be doing?
As a Cook, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring students receive fresh, tasty meals daily. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting the onsite Chef Manager with the preparation of main meals and snacks for the school.
- Using fresh, seasonal ingredients to prepare meals for 200+ students.
- Providing counter service and operating tills as required.
- Maintaining a clean and tidy kitchen and restaurant area at all times.

- A skilled Cook with a passion for creating delicious and nutritious food.
- Experience working in a kitchen environment, ideally catering for large volumes.
- A team player with a positive attitude and a commitment to high standards.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
