We are looking for a Chef to join ourGroup A team in Cambridge.

Reporting to the Service Manager and working closely with the people we support and other staff members, the successful candidate will demonstrate the values of The Edmund Trust and be adaptable and friendly with a passion for supporting people with a learning disability.

The Chef will be responsible for ensuring the people we support have controlled and nutritious meals. This will include responsibility for the people we supports food shopping and budget, the planning, preparing and cooking of meals including making deliveries where required.

To be considered for this role, it is essential that you are:

Passionate and motivated about ensuring we provide the best meals for the people we support

Great at communicating

Able to understand different requirements and work with a person centred approach

Driven and passionate

Confident in following support agreements, plans and policies at all times

It would be beneficial if you had some experienced at supporting people who have learning and physical disabilities and have experience of Autism

The role is full time 35 hours per week, over 5 days and the working pattern can be discussed and agreed.

The salary is £12.00 per hour (which is £21,900 per annum)

The closing date for this role is Friday 25th October 2024, with interviews being held week commencing the 4th November 2024 at Head Office in Waterbeach.
