Site Agent for External Works & Hard Landscaping packages
As a result of recent project wins my client is currently recruiting for a Site Agent to be based on schemes in the Cambridge area. Schemes range in value from £3 million up to£20 million.
Purpose of Role:
As Site Agentfor these schemes you will be responsible for the day to day management, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of externals and hard landscaping packages for a busy contractor.This is an up and coming company who provide excellent learning and development and a really great chance for progression if you want it.
This needs strong interersonal skills as you will be liaising with alllevels of staff and operatives working on theproject Delivery, Commercial, Planning, Head Officesupport staff.Externally: Multiple parts of client organisation, sub-contractors, representatives of local residents, interest groups, designconsultants.
Responsibilities:
Through the team, to ensure the delivery of the projectwithin the given constraints of time and cost.To ensure that all health, safety and welfare obligationsassociated with the project delivery are met.
To identify the necessary resources and assign individualresponsibilities.
To create and execute project work plans and revise asappropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
To ensure that relations with the client and allstakeholders in the project are maintained and managed toan appropriate level.
To minimise company exposure to risk on the project.
Preferential Experience
-Previous experience working on external and hard landscaping packages up to a value of £10 million
-Strong leader with determination and energy, goodplanning abilities, well-organised and seeking perfection.
Able to lead teams comprising a variety of abilities.
Assertive but personable.
Able to communicate constructively with a wide spectrumof personalities.
Willing to lead by example and work on own initiative.
Able to focus on and achieve project goals.
