We are currently working with a global leader in industry investing in their Analytical department with an exciting avenue in peptide research.

We are on the lookout for analytical scientists with a strong background in LC-MS, which includes Method Development and Method Validation. To be successful in this role, you NEED to have experience with Oligonucleotides with chromatographic methods. High Resolution Mass Spec (HRMS)/UPLC experience is HIGHLY desirable.

This is an exciting role working with a large pharma company, with great benefits, and room to grow.

The main duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Development and optimisation of analytical methods, mainly around LC-MS
  • Characterising intermediates, APIs and oligonucleotides using a range of analytical techniques.
  • Collaborating closely with a range of internal stakeholders to help define project milestones and deliverables.
  • Compiling clear and concise reports summarising your work.

Required Experience:

  • A higher education qualification in analytical chemistry, chemistry or biochemistry
  • Experience in chromatographic method development (UHPLC, LC-MS, HRMS, SFC) preferably within a pharmaceutical environment.
  • Experience working with Oligonucleotides is essential.
  • Experience purifying peptides with LC methods is HIGHLY desirable, as is ELISA experience
