The Role
The company is seeking a hands-on Senior Marketing Manager to lead the development and execution of a comprehensive marketing strategy. As the first hire in the new marketing department, this is a unique opportunity to build the marketing function from the ground up. The Senior Marketing Manager will focus on driving brand awareness and generating Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) to support sales growth. Working closely with internal teams and external agencies, the role will involve the execution of impactful, multichannel campaigns tailored to the life sciences sector.

Key Responsibilities
- Marketing Strategy Development: Create and execute a marketing plan designed to increase brand visibility and generate qualified leads that directly support sales efforts.
- Campaign Management: Design, implement, and monitor multichannel marketing campaigns across digital platforms, social media, and other channels to engage the target audience.
- Content Creation: Oversee the development of marketing materials such as whitepapers, blogs, videos, and webinars, collaborating with both internal teams and external agencies.
- Social Media Management: Manage and grow the company's social media presence, ensuring consistent, compelling messaging that resonates with the life sciences community.
- Performance Analysis: Continuously monitor and analyze campaign performance, using data-driven insights to optimize strategies and improve ROI.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, product, and R&D, to ensure alignment on messaging and initiatives.
Requirements
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in life sciences marketing, with a proven track record of planning, executing, and analyzing successful marketing campaigns.
- Education: A minimum of an MSc in biology, biochemistry, or a related life science field (PhD is a plus).
- Digital Marketing Expertise: Solid experience in digital marketing, including SEO, and the use of marketing tools like HubSpot or similar platforms.
- Team Management: Experience in managing both internal teams and external agencies to execute marketing initiatives.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to use data and analytics to drive marketing decisions and continuously refine strategies.
- Travel: Willingness to travel up to 25% within the UK and the EU.
