Our client, based in South Cambridge, is looking for a Trainee Account Manager to join their team. This role is offering the opportunity to be mentored in business-to-business selling. Our clients are looking for someone ready to learn the sales process, and who wants to acquire the skills to build and manage relationships with key clients. Their experienced sales team will be on hand, offering guidance and supporting development. This is a full time, office-based role and a full UK driving license is essential. The role will be supported with comprehensive training and mentoring, and will offer opportunities for career progression within an expanding company.

Key responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Supporting senior sales team members in generating new business and expanding existing client accounts.
  • Developing strong client relationships through regular communication and site visits.
  • Attending sales meetings, product training, and industry events to stay up to date with market trends and product offerings.
  • Preparing sales reports and market analyses to track performance and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure the smooth delivery of products and services to our client’s customers.
