Cedar are supporting a Public Sector client based in Cambridgeshire who are looking to hire an Interim Deputy Chief Operating Officer. This role is operating on a hybrid working basis with the expectation to be on-site 3 days per week and will be deemed INSIDE IR35 offering a day rate in line with Band 9 (c£405 - c£465 per day).

Reporting into the Chief Operating Officer the successful candidate will be responsible for providing senior operational leadership and contributing to the strategic direction and service development and will be accountable for: 1) ensuring user safety and quality is central to operational delivery, 2) effective and efficient delivery of support services, 3) delivering operational KPI's, 4) overseeing key programmes and ensuring performance improvements, 5) develop and support delivery of strategic visions and goals, 6) oversee assurance and performance reporting and 7) ensure delivery of key strategic projects.

  • Strong track record and proven experience operating in a similar role within the NHS, wider Public Sector or a complex Private Sector organisation
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Track record in delivering performance and productivity improvements
