A well established ground investigation contractor based in Gloucester are seeking a driven and experienced Engineering Geologist to join their expanding team. The Engineering Geologist selected will be provided with:

This Engineering Geologist position requires focussed work on a variety of projects. You'll be carrying out ground investigations, borehole logging, supervising drilling rigs, groundwater and gas monitoring, training junior team members and writing factual reports. Client liaison and supporting junior members of the team will also be required.

The successful Engineering Geologist will:

  • Have a degree in geotechnical engineering, applied geology, environmental science, geoscience or a similar/relevant subject.
  • Have experience as a geotechnical or geo-environmental engineer.
  • Have exceptional communication skills, ideally with experience leading a team and/or supervising junior members.
  • Hold a valid UK driving licence.
  • Be commutable to the Gloucester area.
  • Have a full right to work in the UK.
