Ideal Candidate Profile:


*Problem Solver: Enjoys operating in an ever-changing landscape.
*Educational Background: Degree from a top 200 globally recognized university, achieving a 2.1 or better in engineering, physics, mathematics, computing, natural sciences, or a related field. Flexibility on the subject studied.
*Experience: Proven track record in a DevOps or Site Reliability role within a software company, with hands-on experience in investigating and resolving technical issues.


*Technical Skills:


Strong understanding of operating systems and IT infrastructure.
Proficient with alerting and monitoring software applications.
Experience with automation, open source technologies, and AWS (Amazon Web Services).
Familiarity with web-based software applications, Elasticsearch, and Node.js.
Communication: Excellent communication skills and the ability to remain composed during busy periods.
*Relocation: Willingness to relocate to the Cambridge area if not currently residing nearby.


Role Responsibilities:


Combine problem-solving skills with incident management.
Provide IT security services.
Automate tasks and workflows.
Collaborate closely with engineers to ensure system reliability.
