Mechanical Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join our client's dynamic team in Cambridge. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general pipe fitting and HVAC, with proven experience in a managerial position. This role involves overseeing all aspects of mechanical projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

·Manage mechanical projects from inception to completion.
·Interpret and work from technical drawings.
·Order materials efficiently to meet project deadlines.
·Supervise and coordinate site labour and subcontractors.
·Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
·Oversee project budgets and schedules.
·Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.

Requirements:

·Extensive experience in mechanical contracting, specifically general pipe fitting and HVAC.
·Previous managerial experience within the mechanical industry.
·Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
·Experience in labour and subcontractor management.
·Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
·Ability to problem-solve and make decisions under pressure.
·Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
