Senior/Principal Civil/Drainage Engineer

Our client is a multidisciplinary environmental consultancy seeking an enthusiastic and motivated civil/drainage engineer to help further develop this discipline in their Cambridge office

With a relevant degree (i.e. Engineering) and dependant on level, we would expect you to be chartered or be motivated to gain chartership (i.e. ICE, CIWEM, etc).

This is a great opportunity to join a growing team across the business working closely with likeminded colleagues, supporting Project Managers delivering flood risk and drainage strategies for a range of projects across the sector.

Background – The Cambridge office is in a fresh office block in north Cambridge, very handy for the train station. Great opportunity to make your mark and set your path.

Skills and Experience:

  • Familiar with drainage policy and guidance.
  • Familiar with drainage design software (Microdrainage, Causeway, CAD).  
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams, liaising with clients, and statutory authorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Driving license (preferred)
