Are you an experienced senior civil engineer who is ready to represent Europe's leading engineering and architectural consultancy? We are working with an award-winning firm who have a portfolio of UK and international projects, currently seeking a talented and motivated individual to help lead the civils team in Cambridge.
You will assist the Directors, whilst providing solid technical advice, maintaining a high quality of service to both internal and external contacts. There is likely to be some business development via existing clients, but you will maintain an existing client base mainly and establish a sustainable workload based on agreed targets.
You will also be contract managing on all delegated projects, where client liaison on site will be an important skill.
Other aspects of the role include:
- Prepare design solutions and manage preparation of design calculations in accordance with relevant design codes
- Managing project costs and revenue
- Ensure compliance with CDM Regulations, keeping abreast of technical developments in the industry and taking on responsibility for training less experienced staff
To be considered for this role you will have a degree in civil engineering, be Chartered or working towards (ICE or IStructE) and you will possess experience in a comparable role.
