Senior Site Engineer

My client is after a Senior Engineer/Site Engineer to start ASAP on a Highways project in Cambridge.
 
 
 Key requirements and responsibilities:
 
·Provide personal example to fully comply with all Health and safety policies and procedures.
·The supervision of persons and activities as directed by line manager.
·Ensure all workforces have correct and appropriate personal protection equipment.
·Monitor all activities on site to ensure safe work practices and safe site conditions at all times.
·Report all near misses / unsafe conditions to the Safety department & line Manager.
·Report any member of site staff for Health & Safety infringements.
·Ensure risk assessments and method statements are being complied with.
 
 
Cambridgeshire Projects - Specific Responsibilities
 
·Management of DWGs and Specifications for Site use.
·Managing design change/variations and completing take offs to assist QS/PM.
·Responsible for the setting out of all works on designated sites where required. Predominantly engineering checks and working closely with supply chain subcontractor
