Job Title: Senior Engineer/Site Engineer

Location: Cambridgeshire

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Health and Safety Compliance:

    • Lead by example in adhering to all health and safety policies and procedures.
    • Ensure all workforce members have the correct and appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
    • Monitor site activities to maintain safe work practices and site conditions at all times.
    • Report all near misses and unsafe conditions to the Safety Department and Line Manager.
    • Report any health and safety infringements by site staff.
    • Ensure compliance with risk assessments and method statements.
  2. Supervision and Management:

    • Supervise personnel and activities as directed by the Line Manager.
    • Manage drawings and specifications for site use.
    • Handle design changes/variations and complete take-offs to assist Quantity Surveyors (QS) and Project Managers (PM).
    • Responsible for setting out all works on designated sites, focusing on engineering checks and collaborating closely with supply chain subcontractors.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the management of drawings and specifications for site use.
  • Manage design changes and variations, completing take-offs to assist QS and PM.
