We are recruiting for an Asbestos Surveyor to travel across East Anglia and the Home Counties, and service a mixed portfolio of commercial, domestic and public sector client sites. You will be joining a busy, UKAS accredited company with a strong UK presence and growing client base. They have a strong reputation within the industry, so hopeful applicants must be able to uphold their high standards and maintain positive working relationships with clients. Experience / Qualifications:
- Will have proven experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor, within a well-established outfit
- Must hold the BOHS P402 qualification, or RSPH equivalent
- Good understanding of HSG 264 and UKAS compliance guidelines
- IT literate
- Experienced in producing detailed reports
- Flexible to travel as needed
The Role:
- Travelling to a range of commercial, domestic and public sector client sites to undertake management, refurbishment and demolition asbestos surveys
- Writing bespoke survey reports for clients
- Sampling for ACMs on site and safely transporting to the lab for analysis
- Conducting re-inspections
- Asnwering technical queries from clients and providing updates on projects
- Working in line with industry guidelines
- Travelling as required to client sites
