Due to expansion, we are looking for a skilled Building Surveyor to join their dynamic team. You will work across a diverse portfolio of projects, providing essential surveying services and solutions for clients across various sectors. You will be a candidate with solid technical knowledge and a proactive attitude who is keen to work towards their APC Chartership. You will be part of a collaborative team, supported by senior surveyors and industry professionals, who will help you achieve your career goals.

Key Responsibilities of the role include:

  • Conduct building surveys, site inspections, and condition assessments
  • Prepare technical reports, including feasibility studies, schedules of dilapidations, and defect analysis
  • Assist with project management from inception to completion, ensuring quality, budget, and timelines are maintained
  • Provide expert advice on building and property issues to clients, including refurbishments, renovations, and planned maintenance
  • Collaborate closely with other departments to deliver integrated client solutions

The ideal applicant will possess;

  • Experience in building surveying, ideally with a focus on commercial or mixed-use properties, and prior experience of working for a Consultancy.
  • Working towards APC Chartership with RICS (candidates nearing completion will be highly regarded)
  • Strong technical understanding of building pathology, construction techniques, and relevant regulations
  • Excellent communication and client management skills
  • Proactive, organized, and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
  • A degree in Building Surveying or a related field is preferred
