We are seeking an Experienced Estimator to join an established team in Cambridge on a permanent basis. If you have a strong background in construction estimating and are passionate about delivering successful projects, we want to hear from you.
Typical Duties include:
- Producing cost plans from RIBA stage 0 to stage 3
- Taking-off quantities from drawings using Autodesk Design Review
- Leading the tender enquiry process
- Allocating BQ items into works packages
- Subcontractor comparisons and identifying scope gaps
- Providing information on key risks and opportunities at tender settlement
- Pricing competitive tenders under the direction of the estimating director
The Successful Candidate:
- Proven experience in construction estimating, particularly within commercial, MOD, education, and healthcare sectors
- Strong analytical skills and ability to produce accurate cost plans
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proactive and results-oriented approach
- Experience working with various procurement routes (D&B, Traditional, 2 Stage)
