Fire and Security Engineer
Location: Cambridgeshire | Full-Time
Salary: 35,000 - 40,000 (Depending on Experience)
We're working with a well-established and growing fire and security company that's on the lookout for a skilled Fire and Security Engineer to join their team in Cambridgeshire. If you've got solid experience with installs and servicing across fire and security systems, this could be a great opportunity.
What You'll Be Doing:
Installations & Servicing
Install, service, and maintain a range of fire and security systems - including fire alarms, CCTV, intruder alarms, and access control.
Fault-finding and carrying out repairs to keep systems running smoothly.
Commissioning & Compliance
Commission systems in line with relevant standards.
Complete service reports, maintenance logs, and other documentation accurately.
Customer Support
Provide a great level of customer service.
Advise clients on system use and keep them updated on works and recommendations.
What We're Looking For:
Experience working with fire and security systems.
Confident with install, service, and maintenance work.
Good knowledge of current British Standards and regulations.
Full UK driving licence.
Positive, can-do attitude and comfortable working alone or as part of a team.
Nice to Have:
Familiar with Galaxy and other mainstream systems.
CSCS/ECS card.
IPAF or PASMA certifications.
