  • Main contractor seeking an experienced Faade Manager, specialising in brickwork, to manage and successfully deliver a residential project in Cambridge.

  • Key responsibilities include managing all facade elements, utilizing construction management software, interpreting design information, and ensuring compliance with design and specifications.

Main contractor seeking an experienced Faade Manager, specialising in brickwork, to manage and successfully deliver a residential project in Cambridge. You will be overseeing the facade package ona £100M+ residential project. This consists of fourRC frame blocks and additional communalspaces.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee all faade elements, including scaffold, SFS, windows, external doors, roofing, balconies, GRC, traditional brick, brick slip systems, and architectural metalwork.
  • Utilise construction management software, particularly Procore, and ensure accurate QA recording using tablets on-site.
  • Demonstrate IT proficiency, including the use of Microsoft Office programs, emails, and other software applications.
  • Interpret and provide input on design information, drawings, and specifications, ensuring all materials and works align with project requirements.
  • Liaise with NHBC, Premier Guarantee, and Building Control, ensuring compliance with design and specifications during inspections.
  • Conduct weekly, monthly, and quarterly lookaheads to ensure all aspects of the faade work are on track, including design, materials, and labor.
  • Monitor project timelines, addressing any potential delays or issues proactively.
  • Lead weekly coordination meetings and daily briefings with contractors, ensuring clear communication and project alignment.
  • Uphold HSE legislation and site safety standards, including reviewing work permits, RAMS, and ensuring proper housekeeping.


Qualifications and Requirements:

  • SMSTS and CSCS card mandatory; First Aid and Scaffold Awareness preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of design, materials, and faade construction techniques.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Experience in managing and coordinating with multiple contractors on-site.
