Role: Maintenaince Operative

Hours: Monday - Friday 40 Hours

Location: Cambridge

Salary: £30K

What You'll Do:

  • Deliver outstanding customer service while addressing maintenance needs.
  • Conduct statutory compliance checks and support proactive maintenance strategies.
  • Handle repairs across trades, including painting, plumbing, and minor joinery.
  • Liaise with contractors on complex issues, ensuring timely resolutions.
  • Manage furniture logistics, cleaning standards, and safety protocols.
  • Assist with resident check-ins/outs and contribute to community event preparation.
  • Collaborate with the Facilities Manager on stock control and operational improvements.

Who You Are:

  • A skilled tradesperson with expertise in maintenance, decorating, and repairs.
  • Experienced in residential property or facilities management (2+ years).
  • Knowledgeable about Health & Safety Compliance, PPM, and site risk management.
  • A self-starter with excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills.
  • Passionate about creating thriving communities and delivering exceptional service.
  • Flexible and adaptable to business needs, including occasional out-of-hours work.
