We are currently supporting an exciting start-up in their search for a Commercial Executive.

This role requires a proactive and dynamic professional with a solid understanding of natural sciences and a passion for sustainability. In this role, you will assist with the company's commercial activities, build relationships with potential partners, and help promote the company’s mission globally.

This is a flexible, hybrid position and involves occasional international travel for meetings and events.

Main duties will include:

  • Building and maintaining relationships with potential partners, such as recycling companies, raising awareness of the company’s capabilities and long-term goals.
  • Carrying out market research, identifying and evaluating opportunities in relevant industries to help expand the company’s reachOngoing customer relationship management.
  • Marketing support, including managing content for social media platforms to increase awareness of the company's mission and ongoing success.
  • Global event management, representing the company at global conferences.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A solid understanding of, and a passion for sustainability.
  • Ideally a degree or a keen interest in natural science.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a commercial role, ideally within business development and marketing
  • Proactive, outgoing, and confident, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Strong research, organisational, and communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Flexibility to travel internationally for business purposes.
