You will be the kind of person who wants to make a difference within your day-to-day work, but of course there are a few other requirements:
- MSc or higher in Life Sciences (Genetics, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology) or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of NGS, Genomic Medicine, and Molecular Biology techniques.
- Proven sales experience with expertise in territory management and relationship building.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams.
- Commercial acumen and strong organisational skills.
- Familiarity with digital sales tools and engagement strategies.
- Resilience, tenacity, and a passion for innovation.
You will also be responsible for:
- Drive sales and expand the market for sequencing solutions in the East of England.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key genomic laboratories, research institutions, and customers.
- Identify new business opportunities and maximize sales potential within the territory.
- Present and train customers on the use and benefits of sequencing solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions and support customer needs.
- Manage sales pipeline and territory effectively to achieve revenue targets.
- Stay updated on industry trends, advancements in genomic medicine, and competitor activities.
- Utilize digital sales tools to engage customers and drive commercial success.
- Contribute to the development of strategies to enhance product offerings and market penetration.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings.
