Reed Business Support in Cambridge is working with a local company who are seeking a Sales Representative to join their team in Cambridge office. You will play a crucial role in providing outstanding customer experiences. This position is ideal for someone who is proactive, sales-driven, and ready to exceed targets.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • React promptly to customer inquiries, ensuring a seamless and positive experience across all communication channels.
  • Plan and prioritise personal sales activities and customer contact to meet or exceed daily sales activity requirements.
  • Analyse sales data effectively to drive the sales process.
  • Exceed set sales targets and explore the potential of the market.
  • Ensure all Salesforce process requirements are maintained.
  • Stay informed about competitor products and the overall industry landscape.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • The ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with customers, other team members and management.
  • You will be working closely with them to provide details of potential sales opportunities.
  • Being self-motivated and driven.
  • Relevant training will be provided, however, someone who takes initiative and is a self-starter, would serve well in this role.
  • Be confident in speaking to customers on the phone, building a report, and asking relevant questions to qualify leads.
  • This role involves outbound calling, so being resilient is also essential.IT proficiency is vital.
  • Experience with Salesforce or another CRM platform would be beneficial but not essential.
