Role Overview:
As a Construction Administrator, you will be the backbone of our administrative team, responsible for a variety of tasks that ensure effective communication and organisation across the company. You will work closely with our site teams and management, supporting them with day-to-day administrative duties and documentation processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Email Management: Send, receive, and manage emails effectively to ensure clear and timely communication with internal teams, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Liaison with Site Teams: Act as a point of contact between the office and site teams, ensuring smooth communication and resolving queries as required.
- Invoice Management: Check and process invoices, ensuring all necessary information is accurate and complete before posting them for approval.
- Document Management: Assist in preparing and managing critical construction documents, including O&M (Operation & Maintenance) Manuals and Method Statements, ensuring they meet required standards.
- General Administrative Support: Provide general office administration, including filing, data entry, and maintaining construction project records.
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably within the construction or a related industry.
- Strong organisational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Knowledge of construction documentation such as Method Statements, Health & Safety Plans, and O&M Manuals is desirable but not essential.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines.
- Positive, proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
What TheyOffer:
They are offering a salary of up to 16.50 per hour along with offering flexible hours to suit. In addition to this, there is future scope hybrid working.
