A client of ours who is one of the UK'S most successful Tier 1 Contractors is currently looking for an Assistant Site Manager to join the team in Cambridge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in the planning and coordination of construction projects, ensuring adherence to specified timelines and budgets.
  • Implement and oversee health and safety protocols on site, maintaining a secure working environment for all team members.
  • Supervise and ensure that workmanship aligns with the company's stringent standards and specifications.
  • Effectively communicate with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to facilitate seamless project progression.
  • Proactively identify and address challenges that may arise during construction, offering practical and efficient solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with on-site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to foster a cooperative working environment.
  • Provide regular progress reports to senior management, highlighting achievements and addressing any challenges.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • The ideal candidate should possess proven experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
  • Knowledge of commercial, education, and public sector construction projects is essential.
  • Exceptional organisational and time-management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • First Aid, SMSTS, CSCS.
  • Degree qualified.
