Assistant Site Manager (Tier 1)

A client of ours who is one of the UK'S most successful Tier 1 Contractors is currently looking for an Assistant Site Manager to join the team in Cambridge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting in the planning and coordination of construction projects, ensuring adherence to specified timelines and budgets.
- Implement and oversee health and safety protocols on site, maintaining a secure working environment for all team members.
- Supervise and ensure that workmanship aligns with the company's stringent standards and specifications.
- Effectively communicate with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to facilitate seamless project progression.
- Proactively identify and address challenges that may arise during construction, offering practical and efficient solutions.
- Collaborate closely with on-site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to foster a cooperative working environment.
- Provide regular progress reports to senior management, highlighting achievements and addressing any challenges.
Qualifications and Skills:
- The ideal candidate should possess proven experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Knowledge of commercial, education, and public sector construction projects is essential.
- Exceptional organisational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- First Aid, SMSTS, CSCS.
- Degree qualified.
