A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Site Manager, to join one of UK'S most successful Tier 1 Contractors in Cambridge.
Duties:
- Assisting in the planning and coordination of construction projects, ensuring adherence to specified timelines and budgets.
- Implement and oversee health and safety protocols on site, maintaining a secure working environment for all team members.
- Supervise and ensure that workmanship aligns with the company's stringent standards and specifications.
- Effectively communicate with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to facilitate seamless project progression.
- Proactively identify and address challenges that may arise during construction, offering practical and efficient solutions.
- Collaborate closely with on-site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to foster a cooperative working environment.
- Provide regular progress reports to senior management, highlighting achievements and addressing any challenges.
What are they looking for?
- The ideal candidate should possess proven experience in a similar role within the construction industry
- Knowledge of commercial, education, and public sector construction projects
- Exceptional organisational and time-management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- First Aid, SMSTS, CSCS
