Manufacturing Futures are looking to appoint an Electrical Service Engineer, based in Cambridgeshire, work on safety critical equipment acorss the South of England. As Electrical Service Engineer you will be responsible for field-based installation, service and repair of equipment in operational buildings across the South and sometimes beyond. Working closely with other members of the service team your role as Electrical Service Engineer will ensure efficient service and maintenance of existing, new and replacement equipment, ensuring work is conducted in a safe, organised and professional manner. It is important you are happy with travel, expecting to put 10,000 to 15,000 miles on your company van, and are happy with some unsocial hours.

Electrical Service Engineer - Role and Responsibilities - Repair, Maintenance, Installation, Service

* Deliver on-site scheduled PPM maintenance and servicing of equipment, supported by maintenance contracts
* Conduct routine service work on all installed equipment (often working unsupervised)
* Carry out commissioning and repair on all types of installed system

* Possess a good understanding of installing new electro-mechanical equipment
* Hold a full driving license (preferably clean)
* Adopt a flexible approach with the desire to learn and take on new skills
* Willing to travel on a regular basis
* Strong fault-finding skills with the ability to conduct diagnostic testing
* Demonstrate knowledge of electro-mechanical equipment
* Hold a relevant HNC or above in electrical or electronic engineering
