Currently looking for an electrical supervisor to work over in Cambridge on a residential project!
The Electrical Supervisor will oversee all electrical activities on-site for the residential project, ensuring that work is completed safely, on time, and to the highest standards of quality. You will be responsible for managing a team of electricians, coordinating with subcontractors, and working closely with other trades to ensure seamless project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily electrical work on-site for a residential construction project.
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of electricians, ensuring they meet performance and safety standards.
- Review electrical drawings, plans, and specifications to ensure work aligns with project goals.
- Ensure compliance with all local electrical codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
- Conduct site inspections and audits to monitor progress, quality, and safety.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any electrical issues that arise during construction.
- Coordinate with the project manager, other trades, and stakeholders to maintain project timelines.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and manpower deployed.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior electrical staff.
- Ensure proper use of tools and equipment and maintain a safe, organized work environment.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in electrical installation and supervision, preferably in residential construction.
- Valid Gold ECS card
- SSSTS / SMSTS
- 18th edition
- Previous experience supervising electrical teams on large-scale residential projects is an asset.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical codes, safety regulations, and best practices.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, plans, and schematics.
- Experience with scheduling, project coordination, and site management.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Full driving lisence (preferred)
