- Work closely with the Field Line Manager to develop and implement strategies that promote continuous improvement and enhance team efficiency.
- Provide mentorship and training to team members, helping them develop their technical skills and fostering a culture of ongoing learning and development
- Assist in the induction of new team members, ensuring they are fully prepared with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles
- Actively participate in engineering tasks, providing practical, on-the-ground support and troubleshooting complex systems, products, and issues
- Offer over-the-phone technical assistance to team members, helping them resolve challenges swiftly and efficiently
- Regularly conduct health and safety audits within the engineering team, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring compliance with safety regulations
- Develop and enforce action plans to address any safety concerns, maintaining a safe working environment for all team members
- Monitor and ensure that all engineering tasks are completed to the highest standards, meeting both customer expectations and business objectives
- Serve as the primary communication link between field operations and the office, ensuring clear and consistent information flow
- Facilitate feedback from the field to management, helping to refine processes and improve service delivery
- Experience with Gent and Notifier systems
- Proven experience in field electrical and supervisory/management..
- You will need to have at least 8 years industry experience.
- Industry specific qualifications (FIA or equivalent)
- You must be fully qualified, with a certificate in IOSH or SSSTS (Health and Safety)
- Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
