Administrator

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Pre-Construction Administrator to join a well-established construction contractor. You will play a key role in supporting the Pre-Construction team, including work winning, estimating, and design processes. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential, as is the ability to work independently when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the Pre-Construction team, including preparing tender letters, issuing costing packages to the supply chain, taking meeting minutes, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Compile information for and respond to Pre-Qualification Questionnaires.
  • Create and modify bid presentations, and maintain a library of project case studies.
  • Assist with the organisation of company and team events.
  • Manage and update the project database, generating reports when required.
  • Schedule meetings with clients and internal team members.
  • Handle sickness and holiday reporting for the department.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Ability to prioritize workloads and manage time effectively.
  • Enthusiastic with strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive problem-solving approach.
  • Capable of working independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with project data management systems is advantageous.
