Building Services Manager (Eastern Counties)Location: Cambridge Project Based/Office Based, with flexibility for occasional remote workingWe are looking for an experienced and talented Building Services Manager to manage various M&E-related subcontractors through their COP design development, site installation, and commissioning. You will ensure all work is fully coordinated and delivered in accordance with the contract programme within our Eastern Counties business. This position is project-based/office-based, with flexibility for occasional remote work.About the role:You will be working within our Construction East business, where you will: manage and set targets for ensuring the delivery of building services design and installation to the agreed timescales. Ensure that the design and installation of M&E services is fully coordinated, buildable, cost-effective, and complies with contractual obligations. Provide all necessary construction mechanical and electrical support, including the management of services design and its integration into the whole design. Manage the building services design and installation process to meet the agreed programme. Work closely with the project manager, design manager, and commercial team, and provide support to site management in relation to coordination of M&E installations. Assess customer documentation and requirements and ensure that it is fully integrated into the COP and installation. Continuously monitor the services design and manage the information flow between the subcontractors and the consultants. Ensure high standards of health and safety, safe by design, quality, and customer satisfaction.Ideally, you will have: a full understanding of detailed M&E procedures and a good level of technical and professional expertise. Significant experience in the main contracting market with experience of working on a range of construction schemes between £10 and £40 million.What are we looking for?
